Agreement

These terms govern your use of Jessalyn. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

A reflection tool, not medical care

Jessalyn supports personal reflection and wellness. It does not provide medical or mental health diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional. Artificial intelligence can misunderstand you or produce incomplete or inaccurate responses. Use your judgment before acting on a response.

Jessalyn is not an emergency or crisis service. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, or face an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service now.

Your account and content

You are responsible for safeguarding access to your device and passkeys and for activity under your account. You retain your rights in content you submit. You give Jessalyn a limited permission to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and transform that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and provide features you request.

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it to violate law or another person’s rights. Do not rely on Jessalyn for decisions where an error could cause death, personal injury, or serious harm.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Apple or Google under the price and renewal terms shown before purchase. Unless the store says otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through your store account. Refunds and billing disputes are governed by the applicable store’s rules. Features and limits may vary by plan and may change with reasonable notice.

Service availability and ownership

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Jessalyn, including to maintain security or comply with law. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Jessalyn’s software, branding, and service content—other than content you submit—are owned by Jessalyn or its licensors and may be used only as the service permits.

Disclaimers and limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jessalyn is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jessalyn and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Ending use and changes

You may stop using Jessalyn at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other people, or comply with law. We may update these terms and will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect after use ends.
